Tube of Ladybug Larvae

The tube of larvae arrived very quickly, and all the larvae looked healthy. They all lived to become adult pink ladies!

Thank you for delivering a multitude of ladybug larvae!! They are preparing to enter the cocoon stage and it is wondrous to see! Can’t wait for my grandsons to set them free in the garden!!!

I’m sorry to report that the ladybugs didn’t do well. They eventually shriveled and died.

The ladybugs did not go through the metamorphosis. There were no adult ladybugs. The tube that arrived did not look like the advertisement so I assume they were damaged en route. I would not purchase again.

Great experience, all were set free on my milkweed, plenty of aphids to enjoy!!

Easy to transfer into our ladybug pavilion.

I only had three ladybugs to maturity. When I contacted the company, she was really rude about it. I have hatched ladybugs and caterpillars for 17 years since being a teacher. This was honestly the first year I had really bad luck with majority of them not maturing.

The ladybug larvae arrived quickly and on time. I was able to use them with an activity about ladybugs & children were excited. About 10 went into the pupae stage and hatched a few days later. It was still warm outside so I released them into a flowerbed after 2 days.

I am a pre- kindergarten teacher and my students loved learning about the ladybug growing process/cycle. The picture below is my class releasing the ladybugs at the end of the school year.

Our tube arrived in good condition. We put them directly into the play land. When they emerged from their chrysalises, we put them in our balcony garden where they feasted on aphids we didn’t even realize we had. They all did great and it’s such a neat experience to observe their life cycle.

I got the ladybug larvae to use in my kindergarten classroom. The children enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a ladybug as they watched it happen in our Ladybug Land habitat.

The larvae came as promised. 7 grew into ladybugs and were released into nature within a week of changing. Very easy to raise. Will order again. A very good learning experience for children and lots of fun.

Great fun for my ladybug-obsessed child! This is our third round of ladybugs. Each time the tube has arrived promptly within a couple days or the order. The instructions and care are simple, and we ended up with 12-14 live ladybugs each time. Huge win!

My kiddo took the ladybugs to school once they were ready for release, and the whole class got to enjoy hearing about their lifecycle and releasing them into the wild (aka the school rose bushes LOL). If the interest remains, we may do yet another round. Very happy with this whole process.

My students and I were very excited to observe the ladybugs go through their metamorphosis. We had 7 ladybugs make it to full adult stage! We studied insects and our tube arrived at the ending of our unit. The kids shared the responsibility of feeding them water and checking on them daily to see the progress they were making in their life stages. It was so wonderful to watch our ladybugs released into our raised gardens. What a great learning experience for my students!

Amazing experience for our daughter!! This is the second time we’ve raised ladybugs and we plan to do it every summer now! When our first tube of larvae didn’t survive due to the summer heat, Insect Lore replaced it quickly and easily. The second tube did AMAZING! Our daughter absolutely LOVES doing this!

Great fun learning about metamorphosis! All our larvae ate well, grew and turned into pupa. Within 2 weeks we had 16 ladybugs. Kids were so excited to follow along this journey.

This was our 3rd or 4th year ordering ladybug larvae from insect lore. The experience never disappoints! It is very enjoyable to watch the life cycle and then release the ladybugs into our garden. Will continue this annual tradition as my daughter’s understanding grows each year.
