I've been raising Painted Ladies for years and love working with Insect Lore. My go-to every summer!

all the caterpillars were healthy! We had butterflies in about 2 weeks! My daughter loved watching the butterflies hatch! Will definitely do it again

I've purchased from Insect Lore many times in the past, using the caterpillars as a fun activity for my preschool class. I no longer teach but I buy them now for my grandkids. They are so engaged and excited watching the transformation and ultimately releasing the butterflies. We had 10 caterpillars, with only 9 emerging this year. My granddaughter was upset but it made a good learning experience. Not everything in nature survives. I'll continue to buy as long as the kids are interested. I've been very happy with your company.

Our caterpillars were healthy and I think all them made it to the chrysalis stage, and all but one emerged.

For about 8 years, I have been purchasing your caterpillars for my grandkids- now age 12 & 14. The 12 year old girl really takes care of them. Just last week we had our annual release event. Because of this tradition, she has a special love of butterflies and we have a special connection.

So they were a little disappointed that it happened again this year but still enjoyed the process! We had 8 beautiful painted ladies:)

This would be the 2nd time I purchased 2 cups of caterpillars from you. This was just as amazing as the first time. This time we let the kids in my wife's school handle them and release them. They loved it. Thank you

The order was received in wonderful condition and there was plenty of communication so that I was prepared to receive the caterpillars. All of the larvae were healthy and grew into beautiful painted lady butterflies. Our preschoolers thoroughly enjoyed it!

Each cup only contained 4 caterpillars, not 5. However, all 8 caterpillars survived and hatched into the most beautiful painted ladies I’ve seen yet. We were able to keep them for 3 days before they started mating and we had to release them.
