Great experience

Right after finishing the butterfly kit successfully, my daughter (5) wanted to try the ladybugs. It was another successful project! We had 15 larve, with 14 transforming to adorable lady bugs! The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It was another fun experience for the whole family and I would highly recommend any products from Insect Lore!

Ladybugs were sent to great

Ladybugs were sent to great grandchild in CO. (I live in CA). Another kit was sent to his preschool, also in CO. I didn't know an activity journal was sent with the kit. Have no feedback about the journal. They all loved both the Butterfly Garden and the ladybugs, but no response if a journal was included or used. I'm sorry.

My grandkids loved the butterflies and lady bugs. Luckily there are 4 of them because one set of butterflies did not survive to become cocoons.

Lady bug kit and butterflies

There was nothing wrong with the kit at all. We had snafoos. My bugs went to my OLD address but the people there forwarded them to me. Then my son very much overwatered them. We were able to get one to pupa stage before it died. I have new tube's on the way to try again, this time without trying to drown them... I bought the butterfly kit with an extra cup of caterpillars and that turned out great but we had a snafoo there in that I left the enclosure where the cats could reach and some crysalyses got damaged. Still had 7 butterflies fly off. Because we got through all stages with the butterflies, I can give that a 5. Hoping for similar results with the next tube's of lady bugs!
