I purchased this for my preschool class- I had never done it before- the directions probably could've been a little clearer but overall this was the BEST class project we have done- Our butterflies started coming out of the cocoons right as the kids were getting up from nap and I just happened to notice them! The kids were BEYOND EXCITED!!!! I will be allowing them to take them home Monday to release.
Magical experience. Only one caterpillar didn’t make it to the butterfly stage. It was beautiful to watch the entire process and be able to see them free and fly.
I received my kit with 23 caterpillars instead of the 25 which was expected. The children enjoyed watching and documenting the process. Seeing the transformation into butterflies and watching the release was a big hit. I look forward to to do it again next year with 25 caterpillars.
It was amazing!! My kindergarten class enjoyed watching them grow from the caterpillars into the chrysalis stage and then into the beautiful butterflies. It was an experience I believe my students will remember. Thank you!

We loved everything about this project! The caterpillars turning to beautiful butterflies, doing the workbook in sequential order to see the lifespan! We loved it so much I bought one for my sons class at school. They loved it as well.
The students and teachers have greatly enjoyed having the butterfly display in our school. The journals helped them to be more engaged in the process. They have spent a couple of days adding blooms and fruit. They plan to release the butterflies today.
Out of 25 we had 24 make it to release. My daycare kids loved watching them change and learning about the process. They loved watching the butterflies being released.
I ordered the kit that has 25 caterpillars. I was surprised to see all the caterpillars became a beautiful butterfly :butterfly:. I ordered these butterflies because it was going to be my baby’s 1st heavenly birthday. I wanted to have a butterfly release for him. It was the beautiful thing in the world and sad in the same time :sob::broken_heart::angel::skin-tone-2:. I would order again next year to do another butterfly release again.
I wanted to try a project with my middle schoolers and they really loved this! We had 23 of the 25 chrysalis hatch and the students loved setting them free. Great experience for all, will definitely repeat next year!
All 25 butterflies were released! My class had an amazing experience using the Easy 25 school Kit! We made many projects to go along with our growing caterpillars! It was a success and we will do it again next year!
It was worth it . I bought it for my child classroom and omg the experience was amazing. From start to finish something the kids will never forget.
Bought for a 3rd grade teacher and her class. Everything worked perfectly and the class was very excited about watching the caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly process. They then loved releasing to the wooded area behind the school.
My students loved this project!! All of the butterflies emerged! We will definitely being doing this again and enjoyed the gratification of having front row seats to the process.
I bought this kit for my niece for her birthday...and at first she wasn't very excited because there was no instant gratification. But once the process began she was ecstatic!! She and my brother had a bonding moment that was so very touching. It is something that the whole family can enjoy. I'm old/single and now I want one! :upside_down:
This was our 3rd round of doing these and my kids have a blast watching the process and releasing the butterflies! We ordered 33 more and this will be our last batch until spring but as a homeschool family the workbooks that we got are being used for a science unit! Highly recommend
