Always such a wonderful experience ordering from Insect Lore. My kids go nuts over watching their butterflies grow and getting to observe them up close!

Loved it! We had so much fun watching the caterpillars transform to butterflies. All 5 of ours lasted and we released a few days later. I was sad to see them go. I think I enjoyed it more than our 2 and 5 yr old. The 5yr old was very excited about it though!

We got the butterfly package and the ladybug package. Came with great books. Our students loved watching them cocoon and emerge and got a kick out of watching the ladybugs. We did the big release on the last day of school. Great experience:)

Ive gotten the caterpillars the last couole years. My grand children and I love watching the cycle of the butterfly and then releasing them.

My class and I were disappointed this year because only 1/3 of the 33 caterpillars lived and grew to become butterflies.

A few of them didn't hatch and they turned into cacoons really quickly. I've done this before and have had betterluck

I purchased this cute set for my 4 and 6 year old grands. It was the perfect gift of real-time discovery. I added an extra container so that each would have five butterflies. Of the ten caterpillar, all ten turned into chrysalides. From the chrysalises (chrysalides), seven beautiful butterflies emerged and were dutiful released. The children and parents closely monitored and enjoyed the process.

So enjoyable to raise these caterpillars to butterflies.. third time I'm doing it

This is the best place to find living science activities fun for the whole family, I love the butterfly kits and the magnifier really helps, my last order contained 10 caterpillars and I am excited to say we were able to release all 10 butterflies. My granddaughter loved it. She watched them from the time she got them til they were butterflies and she released them. She did say two of them weren’t able to fly. Something about their wings. But said the would live with her.
It was a wonderful experience and the best gift for her.
Her name is Gracie Hensley
And she was so happy she just smiled all the time.
Oh, and she FaceTimed so I could watch her release them. Was a special moment for both of us.
