    • Live Tenodera Sinensis Egg Case (contains up to 200 baby mantises!)
    • Praying Mantis Quick Guide.

Due to the many variables involved in raising a praying mantis, Insect Lore does not guarantee that your baby praying mantis will grow to adulthood.

    • Praying Mantis oothecae hatch between 3 and 12 weeks.
    • Cold temperatures will keep the egg case dormant, if you live in a cool climate, you can keep the egg case in a cool location like a garage to slow their emergence.
    •  Baby Praying Mantises should be released in daytime, outdoor temperatures above 50 degrees.
    • Due to import/export restrictions, we are unable to ship live insects to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, APO, FPO, and DPO addresses.
    • Our kits are STEM Authenticated, Mesh Accredited, and Award-Winning
    • Our habitats are safety tested.
    • Insect Lore Praying Mantis Egg cases are wild harvested from forests and fields on the East Coast of the United States.
    • Since the oothecae are wild harvested, our impact on the Tenodera Sinesis population is net-neutral.
