Insect Go Fish! Card Game

For 2 to 4 Players
Ages 3 and up

Contents:
44 Insect Go Fish! playing cards

Object of the Game:
Try to collect sets of 4 of the same insect card (for example, 4 Penelope Painted Lady butterflies). When you have a set of 4, you can remove all four from your hand. Be the first player to empty your hand of cards and you win!

Shuffle the cards, or shuffle them by mixing them face down on a tabletop. Deal or pick cards until every player has five cards. Place the rest of the cards in a neat facedown pile, or messy facedown "pond" on the tabletop. Players will draw from this pile or pond.

Starting with the player to the left of the dealer, each player asks anyone they want if they have a certain type of insect card. For example, player 1 asks player 3, "Do you have any Drake Dragonflies?" If that player has any, he must give them to the player who asked. The asking player can continue asking other players until someone doesn't have any of the asked-for cards – that player says "Go Fish!" and the asking player must draw a card from the pile or pond.

If you draw a card and it makes a set of 4, lay the set face up in front of you and continue asking for cards. If it doesn't make a set, your turn ends, and play continues with the player to the left.

The first player to run out of cards wins. If no one runs out of cards and the draw pond has been emptied of cards, the player with the most sets wins.
