- One fell hatched perfectly
- Easy to redeem voucher, truly wonderful to watch!
We bought the kit in a store for a Christmas gift for our 5yo daughter, and as soon as it was warm enough, we redeemed the voucher. The redeeming process was easy and quick, and we received our caterpillars within just a few days. It was amazing to see them grow and change, and we were lucky enough to actually see 2 of them coming out of their chrysalis. You've got to watch them like a hawk, it happens fast! We kept them for 4 days, and released them on Easter morning. Our daughter loved it so much, we went out and purchased flowers and plants that Painted Lady butterflies enjoy, and created our own butterfly garden in the yard. She's also interested in learning about Monarch butterflies now, and wants to create a Monarch butterfly garden to help support their dwindling numbers. This was a priceless learning experience, and we'll definitely be doing it again next year!
- Fun while learning doesn't get any better than this!
We did this for the first time once I pulled her from public school and began home schooling. We both LOVED it and will do it again!
